Custom CNC Laser-Cut Sheet Metal Parts from Your Drawings
Anstorm supplies custom CNC laser-cut sheet metal parts for equipment, electrical enclosures and industrial assemblies. The product shown demonstrates a flat metal component with a shaped outside profile, holes and a narrow slot. Parts are manufactured from an approved drawing rather than offered in one fixed catalogue size.
This page is intended for buyers who need flat profiles, blanks, plates or panels before bending and assembly. If the project also requires formed flanges or joined sections, review our custom bent and welded sheet metal parts.
Suitable Part Shapes and Features
Laser cutting can be considered for mounting plates, flat brackets, covers, reinforcement plates, machine guards, enclosure panels and other sheet components. A cutting file may define the outer contour together with round holes, slots, notches and internal openings. Feature size, spacing and edge distance must be reviewed against the selected material and thickness; not every small detail can be produced reliably in every sheet specification.
Material and Thickness Selection
Projects may specify carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized sheet or aluminum according to the final assembly’s mechanical, corrosion and appearance requirements. Material grade, thickness, surface condition and protective film requirements should be confirmed before quotation. Laser-cut edges and heat-affected areas may also need different handling depending on the material and the next manufacturing step.
Files and Dimensions Needed for Cutting
Provide a clear 2D profile or manufacturing drawing showing finished dimensions, material, thickness, hole and slot sizes, quantity, critical tolerances and any surfaces that require protection. If the part will later be bent, welded or fitted to another component, identify the reference edges and functional dimensions. Our review can flag open contours, duplicate lines, missing dimensions or features that require clarification before production.
Secondary Operations and Supply Scope
The quoted process may include deburring, edge finishing, countersinking, tapping, bending, welding, hardware installation or surface treatment when these operations are explicitly listed. This page does not imply that every secondary process is included with a laser-cut blank. For a broader process overview, see our sheet metal laser cutting service.
Inspection of Laser-Cut Parts
Inspection follows the approved drawing and quotation. Relevant checks can include material and thickness, outside dimensions, hole and slot positions, critical profile features, edge condition, part count and visible surface quality. Finished parts should be packed to reduce scratching, mixing and edge damage during handling. Learn more about Anstorm’s quality inspection process.
Request a Quotation
Send the drawing or cutting profile, quantity, material grade, thickness, critical tolerances, finish and required secondary operations. Tell us how the part fits into the final assembly so that important interfaces can be identified during review. Contact Anstorm with your files and project requirements for a manufacturability review and quotation for custom CNC laser-cut sheet metal parts.
