Plan the Front Door Interfaces

Provide HMI, indicator, switch and handle models together with their cutout drawings. Opening positions should be referenced from fixed datum points and checked against the usable door area, component depth and wiring clearance. Door reinforcement may be required where equipment weight or a large opening affects stiffness.

Internal Layout and Service Access

The cabinet can incorporate a mounting plate, DIN rails, wire ducts, brackets and cable-entry provisions. Component spacing should allow wiring, heat dissipation and replacement. Door swing, aisle clearance and access to terminal points must be considered before the general arrangement is approved.

Ventilation and Protection

The visible lower ventilation area is one possible configuration, not a universal solution. Provide heat-load data, ambient conditions and the target ingress performance so fans, filters, louvers or cooling provisions can be evaluated. Ventilation and sealing requirements must be coordinated.
