Custom Automation Equipment Frame Enclosure
This custom automation equipment frame enclosure is a fabricated structure for mounting and surrounding industrial automation equipment. The photographed example shows an open-frame assembly with sheet-metal outer panels, internal mechanisms, lower access openings and adjustable feet. It is not a sealed electrical box, so its specification should focus on machine interfaces, structural layout and access.
Design Around the Automation Assembly
Provide the machine envelope, moving zones, process path, operator position and utility interfaces. These inputs define the frame footprint, cross members, panel geometry and opening locations. Conveyor, sensor, pneumatic, cable and maintenance interfaces should be identified before fabrication drawings are released.
Frame, Panel and Access Options
Welded or assembled frames can be combined with fixed, hinged or removable sheet-metal panels. The final arrangement should support equipment installation and servicing without obstructing critical interfaces. Transparent panels, perforations, doors or guarded openings may be added when specified in the approved design.
Manufacturing and Supply Boundaries
