Custom Low-Voltage Distribution Cabinet Enclosure

  • Enclosure platform: floor-standing cabinet body for project-specific low-voltage distribution layouts.
  • Internal support planning: rails, brackets, trays, mounting panels and cable paths can be configured from the equipment design.
  • Service access: door, removable-panel and maintenance-clearance requirements are defined in the approved drawings.
  • Electrical ratings by project: current, short-circuit, thermal and protection performance belong to the complete engineered assembly, not the empty shell alone.

Custom Low-Voltage Distribution Cabinet Enclosure

This custom low-voltage distribution cabinet enclosure provides a floor-standing mechanical platform for switchgear, control or power-distribution assemblies. The product images show a tall cabinet structure with internal supports and installed cabinet examples. The enclosure must be designed around the selected electrical components and the complete system engineering.

Separate the Cabinet Shell from the Electrical Assembly

The empty or partially fitted enclosure does not establish current capacity, short-circuit withstand, temperature rise or electrical compliance. Values such as 1600 A or 3150 A apply only when the full busbar, switching, protection, wiring and thermal design has been engineered and verified. State clearly whether the request covers a fabricated shell, mechanical assembly or complete switchboard.

Internal Layout and Cable Routing

Provide component dimensions, busbar zones, cable entry, bend radius, segregation and maintenance clearances. Internal rails, trays, brackets, mounting panels and supports can be manufactured to approved drawings. Door-mounted devices and interlocks require their own interface and clearance details.

Thermal and Environmental Design

Heat-loss data, ambient temperature, ventilation strategy and installation location affect the cabinet configuration. Any target IP rating must be evaluated together with doors, joints, ventilation and cable interfaces. Avoid treating “heavy-duty” or “high protection” as a substitute for defined acceptance criteria.

RFQ Checklist

  • Cabinet dimensions, lineup arrangement and quantity
  • Scope: shell, mechanical assembly or complete equipment
  • Component layout and internal support drawings
  • Cable entry, segregation and earthing provisions
  • Heat load and ventilation requirements
  • Material, thickness, finish and color
  • Applicable IEC, GB or project acceptance requirements
