Mechanical Equipment Assembly and Commissioning Support

Anstorm provides mechanical equipment assembly and commissioning support for fabricated equipment structures and automation assemblies when this work is included in the project scope. The product images show factory-floor assembly of large equipment frames with installed mechanisms and panels. The service should be defined from drawings, bills of materials and an agreed acceptance plan.

Factory Assembly Scope

Mechanical assembly may include frames, sheet-metal panels, doors, brackets, guides, purchased hardware and other specified components. Assembly drawings should identify fasteners, reference datums, adjustment points and required clearances. Electrical wiring, controls programming, fluid systems and site installation must be listed separately if required.

Interface and Alignment Checks

Critical interfaces can be checked for position, fit and access before the equipment is packed. The inspection plan may include frame dimensions, level or squareness, moving clearances, door operation and mechanical alignment. Exact tolerances and measurement records are provided only when specified in the approved documents.

Commissioning and Acceptance Boundaries

Commissioning can mean different things across projects. Define whether the required work is a mechanical dry run, factory acceptance support, powered functional test, site startup or production validation. Identify who supplies utilities, software, electrical approval and safety sign-off. Performance guarantees and ongoing support should not be assumed without an agreed test method and service scope.

Information Required

  • Assembly drawings and bill of materials
  • Equipment model and interface schedule
  • Purchased components supplied by each party
  • Required utilities and test conditions
  • Inspection and acceptance checklist
  • Site-work, travel and installation requirements
  • Packing, transport and reassembly constraints
