1.Choose a structure form based on the installation location
· Control equipment installed inside the equipment chassis
For simpler electrical devices installed in the production machinery’s niche, a control panel structure should be adopted. This involves mounting the electrical components on a base plate and using terminal blocks (or sockets) for power input and output.
· Small capacity electrical control equipment placed separately from production machinery
Small electrical control devices separated from the production machinery can use an electrical box structure, with a panel for mounting voltmeters, ammeters, indicator lights, buttons, switches, and adjusting knobs. Other electrical components are installed on the box’s base plate.
· Complex and large capacity systems
For more complex and larger systems with numerous electrical devices and components, an electrical cabinet structure is required. The main and control circuits should be separated, and components that require higher interference protection should be equipped with shielding.

2.Choose structure form based on usage requirements
- Devices requiring constant monitoring and frequent operation
For devices that need continuous monitoring and possible operation, an operator console structure should be used. This structure allows operators to work in a seated position, reducing physical strain and enhancing focus on the uninterrupted monitoring and control tasks. Such ergonomic design ensures optimal safety and reliability for both the electrical control equipment and the controlled devices. - Devices requiring periodic monitoring but not frequent operation
Devices that need periodic monitoring but not frequent operation should use an operator cabinet structure. The control instruments or display screens and control buttons or joysticks are arranged on the cabinet door to form the control panel. - Devices not requiring monitoring or operation
For devices that do not require monitoring or operation, a closed cabinet or closed box structure should be used.
3. Other considerations
- When determining the structure form of an electrical device, it is also important to consider aesthetics, structural dimensions, appropriate layout, avoiding interference between components, and ensuring ease of installation and maintenance. The goal is to meet user requirements while minimizing costs.
